Tarsha Ama Arkoh is a self-taught fashion designer and the founder of Jamatarsh Designs.

Tarsha Ama Arkoh was born on the 24 July 1993 in West Africa, Ghana. At the age of 10 years ole she joined her parents in the United States. she graduated from Shaw junior high school in Philadelphia on May 2011 and from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science in psychology on May 2015. After graduating from Penn State University. Tarsha landed a job as a case manager. While Tarsha was working full-time as a case manager she enrolled in a masters program at Wilmington University to obtain a degree in Business Administration.

Along the way she discovered her talent and passion for designing. She decided to put her masters on hold to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion designer which birth “Jamatarsh”.

Tarsha realized her undying love for creating and sketching. She made it a point to scratch designs every day. Tarsha hand-crafted her own garments and made it a point to be the center of attention every Sunday when she attended church.
