Kanye West’s long-awaited album Donda is finally out on all streaming services on Sunday 29th August 2021.
After a series of stadium listening parties, the rapper released his latest album. It was just days after he had set himself ablaze. Controversially brought DaBaby and Marylin Manson on stage at his Chicago show.
Adding fuel to the controversy, Kanye himself took to Instagram to claim that Universal put his album out without his approval.
Donda, a 27-song-long track, is nearly two hours long. It features many artists that you would expect to see on a Kanye album. Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Playboy Carti… and many others.

We were particularly drawn to a Kenyan-born artist, KayCyy. He lends his vocals for track 16 “Keep My Spirit alive,” which is a gospel-inspired, mid-tempo track where he sings the chorus. The song features verses by him, Conway the Machine, Westside Gunn and Kanye West.
KayCyy or KayCyy Pluto, as he is also known, was born and raised in Kenya. He moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota with his family at age 9. He is reportedly signed to Kanye’s new record label YZY SND.
KayCyy has previously released two full-length albums, and has written credits for Lil Wayne’s “Funeral” and Kanye’s “Wash Us In the Blood” single.
KayCyy commented on the release of Donda. “It was an honor to be a part of it. GOD IS GREAT!”
