Four(4) Songs — #Craving, #Worldwide, #BeEasy and #GirlisMine — almost couldn’t make it on King SAMINI’s Album. The rest of the ‘in-house’ Team per votes, back and forth decisions, it was only me and Slingshot (especially) who almost got a heart attack when “Craving” almost lost it. Brainy Beatz warned to die when “Worldwide” too fell below the initial 15-track list we wanted to pick (12 songs + already released songs MyOwn, Obimbra & Obaa, to make it 15). #GirlisMine also almost couldn’t make it because majority didn’t vote for it as it was a remake and upgraded version of King Samini’s previous song #Papistic (Dancehall ft. Kaakie). I prayed and fought my argument through for #GirlisMine because it had the foundation elements of #Reggae that came out of #Ska so it was very key to me that it must be on. Same way #BeEasy too didn’t really catch many but Chale the bassline in that song and the intro was everything to me, it was my 2nd major pick after #ReggaeNice so I badly wanted it in there. Now all the songs listed are getting awesome reviews, both local and international recognitions. Big respect to #SAMINI, The King outlived himself and proved more than everything for this album!!!🦁🎶🇬🇭🙏🏾
