ESSA, born Vanesa Appiah is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter with major influence from Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Beyonce.
She kickstarted her musical journey professionally somewhere 2018 when she begun recording some of her written songs.
Currently ESSA has released a single titled ‘Mi Sumor‘ which was written by herself and produced by ‘hit making machine’ Ujean AllDay.
According to ESSA, music is very important to her and regardless of her being a college student and having to deal with all the pressures that comes with formal education, she’s regularly going to release songs, go out to perform and observe all her duties as a musician.
ESSA comes from a strict home where most of her actions are keenly criticized by her parents. She’s hopeful to effect people positively with her music and lifestyle and more importantly make her parents proud.
